About Us

Across the Shenandoah Valley and the Alleghany Highlands, the 85 churches of the Staunton District gather at table with young families and new resident retirees in growing communities along the Interstates 81 and 64 corridors, with the deaf in signed worship, study, and fellowship, with Hispanic and Latino immigrants through Casa de Amistad’s (“House of Friendship”) tutoring and bilingual worship services, with students, faculty and staff at public and private colleges and universities, in rural county seats and open country sanctuaries surrounded by still unspoiled wilderness, and in communities where loss of manufacturing and railway jobs have resulted in declining populations. In all these setting disciples are being made for Jesus Christ.
